Client: Pure Nutrition
Project: Pure Nutrition is the private practice of New York based dietitian Christian Henderson. Christian came to me with some general ideas about what she was looking for in a website and logo, but some conflicting ideas about how she wanted to position her business. Christian opted for the Assessment and Follow Up Report; with her background, experience, and goals in mind, I created a plan for the branding and marketing of her business, starting with logo design, moving to web development, then social networking strategy. Christian took the plan and worked with a private designer to create a logo. When it was time for web development, she and I worked together to write promotional copy for her site. I also directed the development of the site with our friends at Eden Design.
Because Christian offers a wide scope of general nutrition services, we developed Service Packages that take the guesswork out of hiring a dietitian. She’ll be able to use these packages to target different populations and show them exactly what they need.
Client: All Access Internships
Project: All Access Internships is a website for dietetic students that provides them with insider knowledge about dietetic internships from former interns, giving them an inside look to the internship’s true nature. The existing blog rarely featured new information, and topics were limited to All Access Internships news. Jenny Westerkamp, CEO of All Access Internships, simply did not have the time to provide new content on a daily or weekly basis. So we developed the idea of having a team of writers: the AAI Bloggers. Each writer covered a unique topic, such as nutrition news or trends, concerns of dietetic interns, or advice from seasoned RDs.
Client: Maye Musk
Project: Maye needed a complete re-branding of her business. Not only had her website been out of date for 10 years, but she had no real brand to speak of. Using her book, Feel Fantastic, as a guide, we developed the tag line, “Eat Well. Be Active. Feel Fantastic.” In a partnership with Eden Design, we kept Maye’s brand colors and font sophisticated but not too light, because we wanted her to have presence and because of her urban location and older clientele.
Again, with the help of Eden Design, we completely reorganized her website, streamlining information and making it easy for clients to get in touch with her. The website is truly a testament to how websites can really be tailored to your needs. Since Maye didn’t want to blog daily, a news ticker on the left sidebar kept the site fresh. Since Maye is a professional model as well and we didn’t want to forget those potential clients, her model portfolio is easily accessible right from the front page. How could a website be tailored to fit you?
We also developed an entire suite of materials for Maye, including a business card, letterhead (both printed and electronic), envelopes, and promotional postcards.
